2022 FFWW Jnr Crown
Updated: Mar 9, 2022
Kicking off 2022 by celebrating Australian & New Zealand female junior wakeboarders!
In 2021 along side Tommy's Boats & Malibu Boats, the Foundation For Women's Wake took part in offering female professional athletes a stand alone online competition. In 2022 we want to keep it local and champion our amazing up and coming competitors!
Offering two categories, Under 18 Boat & Under 18 Cable. From the comfort of their own boat or cable park, riders get to film and edit their own footage, submitting only their best tricks! This gives riders have the opportunity to submit their very best possible entry.
Our hope is to encourage these riders to continue to capture and edit great content for their own social media accounts, promote junior women riders and inspire others who have not built up the confidence to enter their local competition scene yet. We want to see these riders flourish!
"The team behind the Foundation For Women's Wake have played a big role in encouraging Aussie and NZ female riders, socially and as competitors from well before the creation of the non-for-profit.
We've been competitors, event organisers and coaches domestically within Australia and internationally. Growing a grass roots competition purely for the young women is a huge goal as we want to see these girls come through to ranks, competing on the world stage themselves. "
