Malibu Opening Weekend

Wow, What a Weekend!

Firstly THANK YOU to each one of you who decided to join us for our Wakeboard Season Opener in Mulwala, NSW. Who would have thought we would pick the best weekend of the year with 30 degree days and perfect water conditions to get out behind the Malibu Boat. Especially seeing it was closing weekend at the snow, only a few hours away!

Dusting off the cobwebs was the aim of our opening weekend, starting off the wakeboard season with a head start. Two days of coaching to get everyone back in the right zone and confident on their board. There were a few shaky moments, thought it wasn’t long before the ladies started to get some familiarity, with big floaty wake jumps going down and perfecting their switch riding. Each rider worked on skills vital for continuing their profession throughout the summer!

It appeared the local news found about what was going on also, with FFWW Media Correspondent, Teegan, working overtime infront of the iphone to grab post riding interviews with each of the girls. Videos to come! And not to forget the Social Media coordinator for the day, Samy Lee, updating our Instagram followers, keeping them up to speed with what was going down!

A huge thanks to Malibu for providing such an amazing platform for us to learn behind and for making us at home at the Lake Mulwala Waterski Club Malibu Sunset Deck where we made the most of our time off the water!
