What? We have Ambassadors!

That's right, we got you ladies!

2019 marks 12 months around the globe for the FFWW, we couldn't be more proud of what we were able to achieve. With the huge success of the launch Weekend held at Grafton NSW and the Gold Coast Wake Park, QLD then followed up with Swags & Boardbags in South Australia. We met some new faces, got some ladies up on a board for the first time, saw new tricks landed and the stoke for wakeboarding grow!  What are we most proud of? Our first Ambassador Scholarship Program! Who would have thought after 12 months we would be in a position to award two women monetary scholarships?

A huge "thanks" goes out to our two ladies, Lauren Schwarz and Symonne Kennedy, for their dedication to helping grow and support women's wake sports in Australia. These two ladies were selected based on a variety of reasons, but mostly because of their selflessness! If you are in W.A, check out Symonne's Ladies on the Lake sessions held at the Perth Wake Park, Baldivis. Symonne brings together a huge group of women for a private cable session, helping the ladies learn new skills, build confidence and simple get stoked on wakeboarding! What does she gain out of this? Not much other than a big old smile and a heap of new friends!

We want to see Ladies of the Lake keep growing and can't wait to see what Symonne brings to Perth Wake Park for summer 2019/20! Our JNR Ambassador Scholarship was awarded to South Australia's Lauren Schwarz. If you have been to any of the local S.A wakeboard competitions you would have seen Lauren running around, helping the committee and doing what she can to help. We love that attitude! It is not often you will find a junior rider notice that their is always work to be done and offering their assistance. Lauren also has a fantastic presence on social media, putting in time to create fun content and expand her photography & videography skills. Oh, she also shreds and is a serious competitor.  A big shoutout to Wakeboard Australia for allowing us to present this award at the Australian Wake Nationals and providing us a platform to recognise these amazing ladies.Want to be a FFWW Ambassador for 2020/21?
